Melissa Lanham is an integral part of the memorial headstone industry, bringing her administrative and managerial skills to the team at Joy Monument Company. Melissa grew up in Fisherville, KY, on a dairy farm, and later worked in the Workers Comp Insurance field. After marrying David Lanham, a skilled memorialist at Joy Monument Company, Melissa became a devoted stay-at-home mother to their two children, Brandon and Kimberly.
Melissa's love of animals is evident, as she has four furbabies, including three cats and one dog. Her passion for animals can be traced back to her childhood when she attempted to rescue every stray cat she found, much to the exasperation of her dad. As her children grew up and pursued their own lives, Melissa joined the Joy Monument Company team as an Office Manager and Administrative Assistant in August 2016.
